Should have done some research before obtaining a new dog. The dog’s reputable breeder would be more than happy to answer your questions. Also, as required in the breeder’s contract, the dog must be seen by a vet within 48 hours after taking the dog home. The vet can also answer your questions. Do plan on spending around $200.00 for the initial exam.

  2. Slick Wit It says:

dont hit your dog to discipline it
do not discipline your dog if he did something wrong 20 min after he did it, (he wont remeber what he did)
most def take it for walks
give it plenty of attention while it is a pup
possibly take it hunting if it is tht type of dog

Grooming?, depending on the coat type of your new dog.
    Proper diet
Crate training, will come in handy for potty training especially.
Training in general, need to do lots of learning in this area.
Exercise level of your breed or mutt, will need to be met daily.

No, I’m not going to do it for you. For one you have not been very specific on what kind of dog you have acquired.

    1) give him food twice, a long food at night, specially if it´s a garden dog, then a medium meal at morning, just water at noon

    2) give him some exercise daily, make him fetch balls or sticks

    3) give him at least every 2 or 3 days a a bath with a hose and a brush

    4) keep it with their vaccines and treatments every 6 months

    5) clean the dirts he make or drop them some calcinate mineral or mix some sulfer on his food in order to kkep him out of fleas and flies

1.) Vet care is a must, since you just got him, please take him to the vet to make sure he is happy, flea and worm free.
2.) Grooming is a biggie, that includes baths, brushing, hair trimming (if long haired), and cutting nails.
3.) Making sure they have a well balanced diet is good, if you like kibble try blue buffalo brands, they’re my favorite, there is also an option of the raw diet, which i don’t like buuuut it is your opinion.
4.) Always allow enough time for playing and socializing and cuddling! (:
5.) TRAINING! teach him doggy manners, this includes sitting, comming when called, no jumping (unless directed-you can teach them to jump on command if you wish), NO ****** OR POOPING in the house.

good luck and enjoy your new dog(: xo.
