Never heard of those brands.
I buy my dog food at our local Co-Op/Feed Store. I feed Canidae ALS.
I am in the UK so does not affect me but i am sure others probably use this
Legit..I feed raw so get it from the butcher local abattoir and supermarket

I buy my dog’s food from Long Dog Fat Cat.
All dog foods have been recalled at some point, Even Natural Balance, Innova, etc.
I buy my dogs’ food at Asian food stores or meat departments of local grocery stores. My dogs are on a raw diet, so I never have to worry again about dog food recalls.

Legit: I buy kibble/canned food at small, local pet stores, and fresh meat from grocery stores.
I buy my Orijen at EHS or G & E.
I feed raw.

Nothing I feed, but there was someone on here a few days ago who feeds Old Yeller, and who was having some strange symptoms.

I feed Halo and shop at Petco
I signed up to be notified right away if there is a recall as the local news will never carry this info.We have to be well informed ourselves..
We don’t have Krogers where I live. I buy Taste of the Wild from Complete Pet Mart since we got them to carry it.
Yup – I’m in Kroger-land, at least for another month until I return to Stop & Shop/Shaws land

I buy my dog food at the grocery store and wal mart … in the meat section.
I’ve seen the Pet Pride brand at different grocery stores. Never seen Old Yeller though. I’d remember that name. I feed Taste of the Wild & suppliment with raw meat & bones. I buy TOTW at my local feed store. So happy they carry it. Good food. Great price & available close to home too.
I hope they put something like that up at our local Dillons . . I was there the other day and didn’t see much mentioned about a recall, but I don’t look closely at the foods there.
I don’t know anyone that feeds this food, but I DO know a lot of people who watch WIBW. . hopefully they’ll at least mention it on the news.

You can always find out about the latest pet food recall by googling “FDA pet food recall” and checking the dates things are reported on.
I don’t feed my dog any of those but thanks for the notice!

Thanks for the heads-up on this. I don’t have Kroger’s near me, but have family members who shop there and will relay the info. Sounds like the contaminate is affecting liver function–sad.
Feed Wellness and purchase as local pet store (independent pet supply place, no animals sold there), or one of the two big pet “box” chain stores.

Thank you for posting! When I first got my dog I fed her a bag of petpride. Haven’t fed it in awhile though, thank goodness!
