What Dog Food Brands Would You Carry if You Owned a Pet Store? ?

I would personally carry

Innova
EVO
Solid gold
Taste of the wild
Wellness
Instinct
Orijen
Chicken soup for the dog lovers soul

What so you think? Is this a good line up of top rate foods to sell!

We are thinking of moving out of state and the town we are moving to does not sell any of these foods!
I would never feed or carry Science dye!
Thanks I already use and love the dog food web site!
Karen all these brands have food for small dogs too!
I would trying to stay with all 5 and 6 star foods!
Elle if you were soooo worried about your dog been on a organic food the last food I would be feeding is Iam or pedigree! Both are full of trash!

    PEDIGREE SMALL BITES

BECAUSE my little chihuahua cant chew the other huge kinds.
and they always run out wherever i go. There shouldbe more brands of small dog dog food.

I would carry what people could afford to buy. Many dogs cannot handle these top line brands.

The site that has helped many is under the review section. They will help guide you for some good replacements.

Make sure you have a good supply of the present food so that you change their diet slowly. Dogs don’t like their food changed quickly. Their tummies are not happy with a fast change.

Those are all great foods and you got my favorite on there – Taste of the Wild!

Eagle Pack is available at a lot of feed stores, even in rural areas. The Holistic line is really good. There’s also Blue Buffalo, available at Petsmart, and Pure Woof Gold, from Petlane, which they ship to your door.

Mine would basically consist of the same products.

    Merrick
Chicken Soup For the dog lovers soul
    Innova
    Solid Cold
    Canidae
    Wellness
    Orijen
    Blue Buffalo
    Triumph
And Maybe California Natural.. but Im not too big on their products to tell you the truth.

I refuse to sell crap in a bag like Eukanuba, Pedigree, Alpo, Beneful, Rachael Ray, Science Diet, and Other Purina Products.

I think a nice line of organic dog food would be great but I would not leave out the “normal” brands like pedigree etc.
try this website for organic dog food.

Some dogs are used to their foods and owners do not like to switch it up if one works.
My dog needs lam and rice dry food because he has a sensitive stomach.
Right now he is on the pedigree but if a store had an organic version i would switch him.

    I would carry those plus:

    Natural Balance

Since they have GREAT allergy formulas.

  12. Cassie... Loves my babies! says:

    Oreijn
    Taste of the Wild
    Wellness
    Chicken soup
    Canidae
    Purina pro plan
    A few different diamond brands
    Science diet
    Eagle Pack Holistic
    Eukanuba
    And a few raw types

I would sell the ‘lower quality’ ones for peoples whose dogs can’t handle “the good stuff”

  13. randecustoms says:

I would suggest Canidae, from what I’ve heard they are ranked right up there. Whatever you do don’t carry the chicken soup brand as it’s made by Diamond Dog food and that is a horrible manufacturer.

  14. doxie says:

    Merick
    Innova
    Blue Buffalo
    Canidie
    Wellness
    Orijen
    Artemis
    Natural Balance
    Evo
    Nature’s Variety
    Timberwolf
    Pinnacle
    Eagle pack
    Flint River Ranch
    Solid Gold
    Chicken Soup

  15. Chuckles - Bernese Mountain Dog says:

    Wellness
    Merrick
    Orijen
    Solid Gold
    Taste of the Wild
    Fromm
    Blue Wilderness
    Wellness CORE
Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul
    BARF ingredients

And a whole lot of pet products!

I would never sell pets though, or CRAP food!
